John Fenger and his tight crew of professional painters tackled the exterior of our house recently. An oppressive heat wave didn’t stop these guys from putting in their all out effort.
They thoroughly power washed, caulked and meticulously prepped our 3 story home. The crew: John, Chris, José , Eden and John’s brother too, work seamlessly together. It’s a choreographed dance of ladders, tarps, paint cans and guys – like a musical – it’s entertaining and goes by fast.
The crew is very conscientious. Our property and privacy was well respected. They also happily helped my husband with some additional tasks, unforeseen issues that arose during the project.

Excellent paint job on my large home and separate apartment/ garage. The results were stunning. John and his crew started and finished job as planned. John used top of line materials. Power wash, scrape, sand, bondo, caulking, primer, spray paint, back roll and brush, and second spray coat then prime and add 2 coats of paint on trim. All problems were identified and solutions discussed with no extra charges. Easy to work with.

Fenger painting recently completed exterior painting on our home in Sonora. John and his crew were wonderful from beginning to end. They were very professional and courteous. John always took the extra time to communicate with you on an everyday basis during the job. He would let you know what the plan was for each day so you knew what to expect on a daily basis. John and his team spent several weeks plus at our home staining, painting plus much much more. All this can be a daunting task, but John and his team actually makes it fun. You can see they enjoy their work and enjoy working together. I was extremely impressed with John’s eye for color and the attention to detail they all continuously displayed. Here is just one experience of many we shared. As we were standing back and looking at the front of the house, he suggested we do something that would make the front view “pop”. I said “oh wow” I have always wanted a Red Front Door. The rest is history. He came up with the “perfect red” that made the front “pop” just right.
