Founder John Fenger began his career managing and maintaining high end sailing yachts in the San Francisco Bay Area. It was there that he became a specialist in marine and industrial coatings, including clear finishes and stains on hard woods.

John’s initial experience as a painting contractor was in Marin County, where he spent several years painting high-end homes, both new construction and repaints. He quickly developed a reputation with his clients for his attention to detail and desire to address their questions and concerns.

In 2004, John and his family moved to Sonora, CA, where he could pursue his love of the outdoors, riding horses and motorcycles, boating, fishing, back packing, hunting and being with his family. Within a couple of years, his painting business was also fully established in Tuolumne County.

John credits his business success with acting professionally, including promptly responding to phone calls and emails, along with unparalleled painting quality at fair prices.
